Kat (she/they) is the owner of Kruse Control and as of today, has over 18 years of experience driving cars, vans, trucks, and motorbikes.
Her students describe Kat as empathetic, calm, and patient. She will listen to your needs and help you achieve your individual driving goals.
This female-led Driving School creates safe and fun learning environments for LGBTQ+, ENBY, takatāpui, and BIPOC/PGM.
Kat also caters to kanorau ā-roro (neurodivergent people) and tāngata whaikaha (people with diverse requirements). She’s got experience helping anxious people and those who have been through trauma, and is dedicated to help building a safer driving culture here in Aotearoa.

This surprisingly roomy and sporty hatchback is a solid and well-built car. The Aqua makes an ideal car for driving lessons, as it is compact, comfortable, and safe.
Equipped with a pre-collision system, lane-departure alert and reverse camera, for extra peace of mind.
Its compact form helps to create an easy and hassle-free learning atmosphere for city centre driving and practising parking scenarios. Automatic gears take away the stress of stalling, especially when you first start as a Learner.
